This specific green lid has been shown in videos to test positive for lead. However, if you go to Smith and Clark and buy the actual cast iron cauldron, it comes with a standard cast iron lid and there is no lead in it.

This cauldron sucks. I bought it and it’s terrible. It’s uneven and wobbles so it cooks unevenly, and it rusts no matter how many times I season it. Horrible buy.
