Some of them know and don’t care because they believe the most extreme changes won’t happen within their lifetime or their children’s lifetime. They’re making billions from ICE cars, oil, and everything else that is destroying the planet. Greed is here today. Climate change is a lifetime away. Others actually don’t believe in extreme climate change. They believe the earth is just naturally slowing evolving and that there’s nothing we can do about it.

I dont see how people can deny it anymore. My area of southern IN has been getting so many tornados, crazy ice storms, crazy low temps and high temps, and random localized spots getting 2" of rain in a half hour causing unprecedented flash floods

Everyone in power and with money knows. They just don’t care about the people it will kill and probably see that as a good thing. They’re probably also trying to find ways to profit off of it. It’s the same playbook as Covid.

In Canada the oil industry owns the politicians on the right. Those politicians continually deny climate change yet the oil companies take billions in subsidies for wind projects they invest in and also carbon sequestration???
