Narcan should be free & accessible. Fentanyl testing strips should be free & accessible. ALL mental health services (and just all healthcare) should be free & accessible. Maybe if we didn’t stigmatize both substance abuse & mental health, people would be willing to get help.

free narcan is also partly funded by lawsuits against opioid companies (probably from handing them out like tic tacs before) it's only partly tax payed for

A kid in my hs library overdosed on a “study help pill” and his head flew into a keyboard. There was narcan behind the front desk. If it wasn’t for the narcan, he would be dead. It was in every classroom from then on.

It’s not one or the other when it comes to narcan & therapy when we’re talking about addicts & recovery. If the woman who made that video was an addict or loved an addict, she’d know that. Way to educate on this topic 💖

Ugh I love u!! as a Washingtonian I’m so glad my tax money goes to this (not enough imo) and am so sad for the amount of people here who complain endlessly about the unhoused population and also refuse to have taxes go towards anything that actually helps them. It’s so backwards and unkind :((
