just trying to give the standard orientation speech for the new semester at uhe university. the presentation was going completely fine until i turned around to point out the activities schedule on the projector screen. didn't even realize the guy in the front row was holding his phone up the entire time until i heard the commotion. i was just standing at the wooden podium in my white button down and skirt, trying to be a professional host for the freshman. definitely heard his girlfriend's reaction right after i turned back around to face the crowd. some people really have zero fear doing that right in the middle of a full auditorium.
