I just wanna say as someone who has had these exact words directed at me by "friends". Holding space for when I find a man, etc. It gave me such an ick I couldn't put my finger on. Seeing other lesbians rally in saying this is wrong and homophobic has been so vindicating.

i'm a therapist and my supervisor is a bisexual woman who is married to an "innocent boy" and thinks this way. i can't consult with her on clients navigating sexuality bc she thinks everyone will choose a man in the end even knowing i'm a lesbian. this rhetoric is so damaging on so many levels

I've been here since day one with this clip. They post that clip on or before the 19th and pretty immediately, there were many lesbians in the comments especially on instagram calling them out. and they did basically nothing in fact Betty even cracked a joke on her story about it. it wasn't until it went viral. they didn't care about the voice of some lesbians, until their reputation became at stake.
