I know you're told that being a follower of Jesus means that you're a Christian & apart of Christianity,but that's false, as much as you have privacy when you're at home, versus when you're in public; that's the difference between a relationship with Jesus & relationship with The false God that people worship in Christianity &religion &religious titles&terms. The Religious Spirit. God helped me to realize that claiming your religion/an religion, or others substitutions for the reason why you're saved, shouldn't be done, as it means you're putting it above faith in Jesus , as a follower/Disciple of Jesus. In religion, specifically Christianity/being a Christian, It felt dry ,dead both physical&spiritual above anything else for me.By claiming religion, You're making yourself cursed as, you're following a false God, who is a demonic presence. I know because I have been convicted by the Holy Spirit to realize that religion doesn't save you, it never did/ will. Jesus said "I am the truth and the life and the way and no one can go to the father, but through me alone.” If you think about it thoroughly, God will not ask if you're a Christian at the end of your life , but if you had faith in his only son& God will determine the truth without your biased opinion, making you say the truth to him, regardless of how Proud or faithful you are in your idols. It means nothing should be in front of your Lord & Savior Jesus, even titles, saints like Mary, or angels and religion etc. The fact is, that the community you're in, wants you to even praise them like a God, it’s terrible,but don't let that stop you from putting God first, before anyone & any type of assembly. Please have faith in Jesus alone, not religion or religious titles, Christianity/religion isn't what you think it is, ask the Holy spirit to help you realize the truth, through Scripture & ask him to help you understand if what I'm saying is true, as we should always go to God before listening to others testimony or not.
