1. No man knows the day nor hour is a Jewish Idiom for the feast of trumpets 2. if it wasn’t for us to calculate/be prepared for then why does he give us signs to know when the time is close and why does september line up with the bible that gives calculations from specific prophecies like daniel, and elijah. All the previous prophets in the bible knew they were going to get raptured before their rapture. Including Noah as i think we can include him because of the similarities from the ark to the rapture. 3. Context is that Jesus is talking to his disciples who’ve lived 2000 years ago so that’s why it wasn’t for ‘them’ in particular to know. In this context Jesus wasn’t speaking to the reader he was speaking to the apostles. They lived with Jesus their whole lives, and Christ wasn’t going to be returning for a long while, so he tells them it’s not for them to know. plus Jesus says ‘time and date’ which equals 24 hours or a specific ONE day predicted, the feast of trumpets is 2 days and 48 hours. Jesus said time and date he didn’t say this- “it is not for you to know the time or season. he said time and date.
