as an electrician I can tell you that that is a fire hazard waiting to happen... unless you're only plugging in small things, you're going to overload that circuit... sure it's handy and can be used but I wouldn't put it in my house

The issue isn't overloading the outlet, that number of taps would be fine, provided the rest of the circuit isn't overloaded everywhere else. for instance he has these on every outlet on that circuit and has them all loaded. I do worry about his outlet though. looks like it's just set in the drywall, no box.

Hopefully the circuit is strong enough to cover all the power it needs or it’s going to trip the breaker but I guess that doesn’t matter to you as long as you get your money!
