On 25 August 2017, the Myanmar military and extremist forces unleashed a genocide against the Rohingya people. Entire villages were erased. Thousands were murdered. Women were raped. Children were thrown into fire. Families were torn apart, and over 700,000 of us were forced to flee to survive. We were hunted like animals — not for crimes, but for our identity. Even today, we remain stateless, scattered, and suffering in refugee camps. But our voices are not broken. Our pain is real. Our memory is alive.
