Scripture says to “abstain from all appearance of evil” (1 Thessalonians 5:22), even if not consciously demonic, Jab Jab has demonic undertones because it glorifies and reenacts the imagery of the devil. And the enemy doesn’t care if people “intend” to mock him he only cares that his likeness is being paraded and normalized instead of Christ’s. why embody evil when you could embody Christ? Why not resist oppression by marching as saints, angels, warriors of light? Why not invert slavery with images of freedom in the Lord?
