This reminded me last time I was in Japan I accidentally handed over a Korean 100 won coin and the cashier gave me the dirtiest look. I felt so bad, I thought I had emptied out my coin purse when I left Korea 😭

Little pro tip. When using cash you will end up with ALOT of 10 yen coins. Use this at vending machines if you want to get rid of them

the coins are easy to work with. always shold have them on u for vending machines, and small shops. It will build up fast, and be gone just as fast. Also good for transportation, bus and train station.

I always use my coins at 7-11, use a calculator so you know exactly how much you need then bada bing bada boom no more coins
