If you Buy an oven safe liner for underneath. Then if the grass is dry, It will only ever hit the mat and not the dry grass! The liner fits in the bag

I got it, very good fire pit. I throw mine last month as mesh got some holes in it after a while, but i used it around 30 times lets say, so i would say worth it. 😊
