I've been rereading the series and it's so good! I loved actually reading it chronologically. But there's one thing I don't understand; the journey of the rising jewel. According to the story on the mulberry tree, a descendant of Neporo stiched it into his side and passed it down through generations until it reached Tané. But how did Tonra gain posession of it? And what did Nikeya do with it?

Samantha, I have maybe 90-something more pages left in The Priory of the Orange Tree. Truly, this is the most beautifully crafted story I have ever read, and I will be continuing the series. I am sadden that I must leave this book of characters I have come to care so much for, but I am greatly excited to still explore this world in the next book. With all my heart, I thank you for following your passion for writing and for bringing such intricate and well-developed stories to life. You will be an automatic-buy always—I already know I’ll get The Bone Season without a thought. Keep going, please! ❤️
