with removing the switch valve? Will you need to add check valves to prevent one tank from feeding the other tank?

does your fuel tanks got baffles around fuel pump area ? if you going up big hill if it stall when low on fuel both why baffles . or keep gas above 1/4 in each tank you don't worry about get fuel injection gas tanks . 1985 to 1987 on haft tons 3/4 to 1 ton 1985 to 1990 1/2 to 1 ton inter changes on gas tanks . I just thought share this with just a case you have fuel staving problems going up hills.

Never go below 1/8 tank on either or you'll create a vacuum bubble in the lines.
