I did my career in that exact order. Im tech 3. I accumulate 5/wks total. I spread them out as needed. It only took me 20/yrs to figure it out

I work all the time Monday thurs Saturday 630 am to 6 pm. I take a one week vacation once a year have to company buy me out of the rest. I’m not in financial debt. My plan is to retire when I’m 45 and enjoy my life . 70% of my check goes to my retirement plans

I’m tech #4 I work part time 6am-12 daily. No weekends. Own my own shop. I don’t do bs work and take my time on every job. Vacation when ever I like but fishing most every weekend 😬

I'm on my 3rd vaca this year and I like to do the day before and after my 2 day weekend and take the Mrs to Laughlin. I know what its like to go to work and wake up in the hospital from critical conditions and after that I'm living my life regardless if my boss likes it or not . Fire me IDGAF

I feel there's one more tech. I'm not financially in the hole but I never take time off unless I'm sick or have an appointment. I've been doing it for over 30 years and still can't understand how techs get burnt out

first thing i say when I get hired at a shop. February I'm in Hawaii for 14 days. every other August I go to Samoa for a month. it's a family thing. also every summer we have a 7 day family camp trip. I also go to lots of concerts with my wife so there will be days I'm not coming in the following day if the show is during the week. other than that. thanks for the opportunity!
