Instead of “feeling safe” my ex would tell me he felt “relaxed” and he could be himself around me, which to me sounded like he felt relief and that he couldn’t normally be himself. 🤔

It was her who didn’t make me feel safe after her betrayl , she never created a safe space for me to heal , she just kept adding more and more disrespect and I kept forgiving, because the love I felt for her was real … it kills me to realize how much time and effort I wasted on someone who literally in the end gave me nothing but stress , betrayal , anxiety , lies , and time lost of my own happiness
