They’re actually sewer flies and if you bleach your drains twice a day and leave it there you won’t have a single one in the house even with fruit out! 39 years old when I learned this last week

I have these at the minute and today I put apple cider vinegar in a plastic tub rapped clingfilm around it put a few holes in the top and they have started to go in there now they can't get out

we've had these been driving me mad, thought I had something rotting or dead in my kitchen! had to put the fruit basket away in my cupboard. will bleach my sink and see what happens. Driving me insane can't leave nothing out

Sewer flies I had them the 1st year I had my new kitchen fitted , so it was something with the sink being pulled out etc , bleach in it sink often haven’t had them since

Yeah they work, they are goid, but expensive.. Just get some used pots ( yoghurt or something) a bit of cider vinegar and dish soap, piece of cling film with holes for entry on top. Sticky pad on back., same result..won’t cost you 16.99 for 4. .. but of course if you don’t mind paying for the ease.,they are worth it to you.

I had a zapper fly killer. one huge one went into it and it literally set on fire and the smell was absolutley horrific. had to open every window and door in the house. so grim but better than them landing on food
