I have fine hair too. I did mini twist one time and my hair damn near locked up. I only had them in maybe 2-3 weeks.

fine hair girls should never ever wash there hair in mini twist. I only keep them in for 1 week..then wash. the repeat . I dont do tiny but I do small.

Mini twists aren’t for me too. 2-3 weeks and it locks up. Mini braids serve me more I can keep them in for 5 weeks. You can try them

i realized i cant wash my hair in twists or braids. I dont think the issue are the mini twits itself, its the fact it tangles worse/quicker after washing

Do them on blowdry and do them very loose gives us volume and easier take down.

my mini twists loc'd after a month😃 I tried taking them out and now I have a bald patch in my hairline. I'd highly recommend getting larger sized twists

I just hate that smaller parts are the “solution” when you have fine and low density hair. Maybe I don’t wanna do 500 twists only for the style to last one and a half weeks😂🥲

I could not retain length with mini twist. I have been practicing doing cornrows with less braiding hair which has helped

You are so right. Those smaller twist matte up, lock up,and become fussy and tangled. I will not do small twist again. The detangle process was terrible.

Medium braids ladies!!! Easy to take down, less frizz, faster to install and moisture retention is better. You can also wash in them every 2-4 weeks with minimal to no matting!

I never wash with my mini twist in and I always use flaxseed gel during my take down, never had an issues with tangling/matting. I would definitely recommend flaxseed gel
