There are literal posts, "Why are they closing the dining room by 8pm? My child hasn't eaten dinner in three days" or "Where can my child do their laundry? Are there laundry facilities onsite because my child has no clean clothes"

One post on my sons college facebook page a parent asked if they could put a nanny cam so they can make sure their kid goes to bed on time and keep their room clean. 🙄

The thing I worry about with some of these ‘kids is their mental health. It’s a hard time for people dealing with life right now (economy, social media influences, politics, etc) so add to the mix an 18yr old that is trying to navigate college and deal with these struggles and self doubt. If I knew anyone that was struggling I would want to help especially a kid. So for me I will read those college parent posts and offer help of if I can.

The college my daughter went to had the Parent page that you’re talking about and then someone created the back of the bus parent group and we make fun of all the parents and the other group in that one! You should start that for your daughter school. Wait until you get the 4000 questions on where to get a Meyer balloon or a helium balloon or a birthday cake when it’s discussed add nausea in the group.The best is what winter coat do they need?
