There’s no hate, but to be Christian means you have to follow Christ. It’s not judging, but rather defending the truth (Romans 16:17-18). The Church is not supposed to change with the times and modernize. For 1500 years everyone that was Christian was Catholic and worshiped Christ with the Eucharist. The non-denominational service is primarily about entertainment. We are not supposed to be entertained at church with concerts and long speeches, but rather worship God in the most reverent way.

There’s truth and actual historical facts that support the Catholic Church. It’s not a set of beliefs. There’s research and historical facts/data = truth. Protestant comes from the word “protest” because in 1517-16th century people protested catholism and thus started creating their own religions ie protestant Christian religions that were man made. No judgement, I think modern day protestant’s hearts are in the right place however they may not have known all this. I encourage all protestants to do their own research on it before making their decision to turn away from the Catholic Church. If a person does their research and still feels the desire to stay Protestant then so be it that is their own choice. Couldn’t ever be me but I’m also not going to judge or treat someone different if they make a different choice than me. It’s their life and only God can judge. The facts are that the Catholic Church is the only church that was created by Jesus himself, not man. Also, saying you are Christian and not Catholic means you are Protestant. Protestants and Catholics are both Christians… ❤️🙏

That may be your perspective, but for a Catholic, mass on Sunday is non-negotiable and there is no replacement for it

Heavy on “personal relationship with God”. That truly SHOULD be the most important part. It annoys so me when people focus so much on names and traditions instead of biblical truths. People miss the whole point of the Bible + Jesus by focusing on all the different terminologies.

I agree but the catholic church doesn’t unfortunately … ex: getting married in a non dom church means you didn’t complete a sacrament and should no longer be taking communion. It’s sad that catholicism doesn’t have your view !

I think it’s beautiful, it’s YOUR relationship with Jesus. He will purify you in anyway needed if your spending time with Him. Don’t let the comments bring you down. They aren’t Jesus.

so one massive problem is there is a christian nationalist movement in this country which is anti democratic and hateful. so there is in general a huge backlash. thats got nothing to do with you and wish you the best on your spiritual journey

I completely understand. I grew up going to catholic mass and I felt like I wasnt connected and didnt enjoy the strict structure of it. I told my catholic mother about this and she was hesitant and went on the 'one true church' spiel. not everyone will worship the same and that is fine idk why catholic get up in arms abt it
