@roxyswildplace: Why can’t an alcoholic just have one drink? Because I can’t. One was never enough for me. That first sip didn’t calm me, it woke up something I couldn’t control. I’ve fought with myself, with my own mind, just to stay sober. To someone else it’s ‘just one,’ but for me it was the doorway back into chaos.
