As a bigger girl, I fully agree. However, if someone pays for a second seat…they better get that second seat. Not force someone to squeeze next to them so they can make even more money.

These comments are not it. Treating body size as a surcharge issue infringes on disability rights and sets a dangerous precedent for how airlines value inclusivity. And before anyone comes at me saying being plus sized isn’t a disability, many people are plus sized BECAUSE they have a disability and this airline policy does not differentiate that

I’m a big boy, 6’5 290 and I have no problem buying an extra seat. Now where I’ll have a problem is if they over sell the tickets and try to put someone in the extra seat I purchased. I’ll definitely have a problem with that

Why are we not talking about how airplanes should have bigger seats? I’m 5’10 and 160lbs. I still have little space. They keep making seats and the space you have smaller so they can make more money.
