I found placements stressful - my third year placement was the worst time of my life. I felt so unsupported. and being observed every lesson is awful 😭 much happier now I'm fully qualified!

It’s the file I find hard - as it doesn’t play as big of a role as your uni mentor visits but it still plays such a big role! You want to have a strong file, but not spend loads and loads of time on it!

Working together is so important, and collaboration 🙌 I feel sometimes after the first few weeks your left to fend on your own. Your mentors always your mentor and they should always have time for just you and them

I've worked in a state nursery for 20 years handed in my notice to start my teacher training SCITT pgce course. I'm nervous to be in a new setting placement but grateful I've got a good knowledge base and experience and also excited to start and learn new skills and further my knowledge. I think going into placement with an open mind and willing to learn and also share ideas is important
