kitty forgot to say that we tend to have extremely restricted diets, which can and in most cases does lead to malnutrition even though we eat !! it’s common with ARFID to restrict to foods like pasta, rice, bread and other carbs (or other specific food groups) so our diet lacks the diversity it needs to get proper nutrition which can be dangerous 🫶🏻

i havent eaten a proper meal in 2 days because of my arfid, my arfid affects my cravings as well and my friends have even taken notice 😭 its annoying but it makes my body happy so i dont rush myself. im patient and careful with myself

its literally so awful. people look at you like your a brat and other things. if I dont have my safe food, I won't eat at all. new food is scary and makes me feel overwhelmed and my brain is screaming no.
