She is right .👍🏻 I agree with the economic approach towards Taiwan with soft power. China treated Taiwan like a golden child for decades. This is due to memories and typical Chinese culture to respect those who help them before to industrialize at the beginning of reformation. Taiwanese setup countless industries in China. And the Taiwanese has too many families and relatives living in Fujian province. So war is not a good option for both sides.. secondly Taiwanese beginning to understand US interests to take TSMC away from Taiwan for political reasons, it’s not about Taiwanese or western democracy.. if TSMC close down in Taiwan, and secretly create another one in China. The whole conflict will be over. The Taiwanese opposition to unification are mainly the 400k Japanese descendants who were left behind after 2nd ww

Around 5%-10% of Taiwanese actually live or reside in mainland China. And Chinese officials have never said about potential war. The story of a potential war actually comes from US politicians. It is a trick to get TSMC over to the US.

On corruption in Ukr. there's cca 2 million Ukrainians of fighting age in Europe. the bribe Ukrainians have to pay to get themselves off the hook with recruitment officers is $10k. we're talking vast amounts of money which will never be mentioned in western sources. the army is only 45% equipped, meaning that 55% of moneys allocated for that purpose is missing. that money was supplied by the western tax payer. it's perfectly obvious why our gvts don't want us to know abt it.

Both Taiwan ie Republic of China and PRC claim to be the legitimate government of ALL of China. The USA recognizes the PRC as the legitimate one as do most countries.

china will take back Taiwan inevitably. whether china will use forces or not is depending on how far Taiwan will go toward independent. once that red line is crossed, china will use force even directly engaging US with military confrontation.
