@cincinnatizoo: Today, cheetah cubs Zola, Lulu & Kiara practiced running for the first time on our lure machine. They are very cautious and hesitant at first, which is typical cub behavior. The first time they come out they are more curious than actually chasing and by their second “run” their instincts start to kick in to chase! It takes some practice to familiarize themselves with the lure (which is basically a fluffy dog toy). We will continue to practice and see how they improve! So far it seems like Kiara picked up running the best! 😻 #cheetah #cincinnatizoo #animals #zookeeper
