Competition of ideas and competition on the marketplace are the driving forces behind the innovation that has improved our human lives for millenia.
We often forget that competition between nations on how to govern is just as valuable.
Seeing China navigate the same challenges every society faces in a different way is something we should look at with interest, admiration and an open mind.

the party owns the means of production, China solved the disincentive problem of the former and lingering Russian model, but the people are competing with each other to the benefit of the party, it's like a slave master giving extra rations to the hardest worker that day, but can also take away your rations anytime they choose. it's not freedom and not capitalism. we're fighting and struggling to keep that alive here in the US as our permanent bureaucracy lives and covets the level of control China has

The audacity that China thinks that they would be a superpower without the United States help is ridiculous. Let’s play a fantasy world where there is no free Trey agreement. What would China’s world would look like and what would America’s world look like?

Look China’s dominance is around cheap labor. They do cheap labor at a very hyper, productive rate. That is a huge advantage however, when you have a society that is predominantly around cheap labor, consumer hurts.. so let’s say the United States stops using cheap labor in China, which predominantly is their source of income they don’t have a consumer base like America to lean on.
