As a former service writer in the automotive industry, wynns is a terrible company to work with

90% or more of aftermarket warranties are a ripoff! that's what I've seen after almost 40 yrs in the transmission business

Yes, please do a video on warranty companies, and if there are any good ones you would recommend.

Aftermarket warranties are a joke. They will fight you tooth and nail not to pay.

When you get a warranty ask for an exclusion warrant not an inclusion warranty. That way you get a list of what’s not covered and everything else is covered

Allstate warranty paid $11000 to put a new wiring harness in my 2020 Hyundai Sonata that had 63000 miles on it...I was shocked, cost me nothing

Do you believe it is worth purchasing these warranties? It seems to me that they fight every thing submitted. I purchased a used Ram. Transmission went out 3 days after I purchased. They had so many hoops to jump through, it took almost 6 months for me to get the truck back. That was 2 years ago and it has run fine since and they did eventually cover it but the process was hell.

I'll never get a warranty through a 3rd party again. we bought my wife's car and a couple months later found it was burning oil. the warranty didn't cover that, we didn't know until we had already took it in. a few months later the timing chain went out. in the paperwork it shows that's covered. they said since the engine was burning oil they wouldn't cover it. but there's nothing in the agreement that says it wouldn't be covered.

Unfortunately it's on the buyer to get the car inspected before purchase. half of these cars on used lots are bought from auction and put directly on the lot. half of them probably haven't even been looked at before they sell.

Why would they pay to fix the wheel bearing if the car needs a new engine? If the engine can’t get fixed then why waste money on some wheel bearings lol that’s like fixing the ice maker when your condenser is broken can’t use the fridge anyway so what’s the point

I was surprised with the extended warranty I had for my car, they covered everything without an issue. I paid $2,200 for the warranty and they ended up paying for $4,500+ in repairs over 120,000 miles and 6 years. I feel I am a rare case when it comes to extended warranties.

I had a buddy's warranty cover transmission, wheel bearings all kinds of things no problem. anyways he had a oil consumption problem real bad they gave the ok to have the car tore down and see why well they found out the piston rings were trashed and then told him they weren't covered they are considered a wear and tear item and then stuck him with the tare down and he had to pay for his motor to be fixed it was crazy as far as im concerned.

I kind of understand why the warranty company wouldn’t want to cover the wheel bearings when the vehicle needs an engine. Typically, if a vehicle like that needs an engine, then it’ll be junked, so why pay for wheel bearings if the vehicle is going to be junked?
