Vinyl plank only!! I got engineered throughout my home and it’s now a MESS. Any water left longer than 5-10 minutes ruins the plank, easily gouged and scratched and NOT easy to clean.

Waterproof and durable 100%. Spent so much money patching engineered wood floors because of a dishwasher leak, kids spilling and pet accidents. Everything attacked that floor. Our luxury vinyl is immortal. Make sure it's dent resistant and you love the pattern though because it will be around forever.

I have become an expert at this, definitely wide blank, make sure the bottom has padding, and not A cardboard looking pressed wood it should look plastic underneath.
