@tallmomrunning: Federal Judge rules a 2023 Minnesota Law barring colleges with faith based statements from participanting in Minnesota’s post secondary enrollment options program for high school students is unconstitutional. #minnesota #mn #foryoupage #college #rushtok
Why are we giving public money to private colleges anyway? PSEO should only be applied to public colleges and universities.

I trust your previous commentaries and was wondering if there’s anything I need to know about these two?

I’d say just limit it to public MnSCU or UofM and be done with it. I’d prefer that limit anyway.

Wait so private schools are allowed to discriminate for immutable reasons *and* the state has to allow them to receive state funds?

Boy, we really need to cleanse the entire government of these freaks… It can’t just end at the politicians, but we also need to clean out the courts of these extremists if we ever want to have a functioning society

When you start "segregating" schools then your taxpayer funds are also "segregated"! Faith based organizations don't pay taxes, then they are not eligible to receive taxpayer funds! 💙

If a student doesn't like the pledge or the beliefs of a religious school they can go to another school.

Bethel “likes” religious info but not required for PSEO apps. Their history class options are religious based only on. They also have to take a religious class as a PSEO student. Didn’t transfer to UM for credit. Teachers weren’t that great to be honest. Wouldn’t recommend Bethel as a PSEO option unless you are in the lower level education base.

Why is PSEO paying $518.35 per credit at the U when it’s $198.05 per credit at MN community colleges that offer transfer curriculum courses that are already approved for transfer credit?

Northwestern has a very robust PSEO program. They get a lot of money from the state through that program

The decision seems sound, but this does appear to be an unintended, but predictable consequence of allowing students to get credits at private colleges(imo, a mistake). Next convolution private colleges effectively educating as charter schools but giving college credit & funded by MN, seems all setup

Dirty little secret - district 196 has a lot of closeted conservative teachers. And quite a few that i know were lifelong democrats that switched to secretly vote for trump in 2024. You crazy leftists are literally pushing teachers to the right!! Smh i never thought i’d see the day, but it’s thanks to people like you. Maybe consider you are doing more harm to your side than helping.

So religious schools get to discriminate against who they want by making up absurd requirements but the Gov't can't remove religious schools from programs because they discriminate against protected classes. Sounds about white, white nationalist that is.
