I tried it and hated it. Having a watch, any watch, on my right wrist feels weird, so I dumped the idea of doubling up. The awkwardness outweighed any convenience.

I wear the same - for 3 years now. I got used to the feeling of a watch on my right risk. I have the Apple Watch face off and only use it for tracking steps and notifications.
