It’s been YEARS for me like more than a decade. I never got used to them. I still have them (progressive lenses) but my eyesight isn’t that bad so I mostly use them for distance. I take them completely off if I need to look at my phone.

It takes about 2 weeks but you have to wear them every day. It's so worth it though 🥰
