I actually would've been offended because instead of just helping me understand how to use the chopsticks better because clearly you must have noticed that I'm still learning, why not help me get better at holding them so I can assimilate vs diminishing my potential by handing me something I didn't ask for? 😒

I went to get Arepas at a local restaurant the other day. I go there all the time, and they stuff them so full that if you try to eat it normally, it all squeezes out the side. So I’ve started eating the top of it with a fork until im able to eat it how it’s intended without making a mess. The waiter comes up and goes “umm so you’re supposed to eat that like a sandwich” like YES I KNOW, IM TRYING NOT TO MAKE A MESS LIKE A TODDLER 😭😭 He was so nice about it but even after I explained why he still looked at me like 😐
