I am a combat Veteran that loves this. Yes, I served because I wanted to protect our freedoms, but flag burning is ridiculous. Go march and protest, but leave the flags alone. Absolutely zero need to do that BS.

I’m not an actor I’m someone who got an A in constitutional law. The First Amendment protects not just spoken or written words but also symbolic acts, once the government has the power to suppress one unpopular form of expression, it becomes much easier to suppress others. You give an inch they’ll take a mile be very careful in what you hope for

Bc where do you stop? If the first amendment doesn’t apply to things some people find offensive, you could strip speech protections from any activity. Also flag burning is not protected but donating money is, cmon.
