my dad died suddenly from a heart attack, while my mom died from cancer after living with it for 2 years. They died within 2 years of each other. it was strange, how different it was to experience death in different ways.

My mom passed away 8.25.23, two years ago today. I was on the phone with her when it happened and had no clue. The conversation just stopped. She was 53 🥺 I struggle to this day.

I have always thought it was easier for the person to die suddenly than slowly, but, selfishly, easier to process for us when slowly. You do a lot of the grieving before they even pass, have time to say goodbye. Suddenly feels so incomplete.

I just lost my mom this morning at around 2:20am she was diagnosed 4 months ago with brain cancer and passed at a hospice house after being there only 4 days I’m so sorry for your loss it is heartbreaking watching them slowly slip away 💔😭

my dad died in 17 suddenly from going septic I was 23, he was 50 that was terrible. my grandma died last October after being sick for years it felt like a blessing because of how miserable she had been for years. and my little brother died from being tboned on his way to work at 27 on February 14th 2 days before my 31st birthday and it has been the most devastating heartbreaking reality shattering thing I've ever experienced and it's been 6 months and I feel the exact same way I did the day it happened.
