Oh no. I saw HR people in the comments say that NYC has LEGAL minimums for salary exempt positions based on the description and said $64K was the minimum. She needs to talk to an HR expert.

After this, she’ll need HR advisors AND PR training. That live exposed so much of her entitlement, how poorly she handles conflict, accountability, lack of empathy, etc. She really could have approached this with an open perspective and had a real conversation instead of telling everyone they should be grateful and they don’t get it.

And mind you…coordinator work is HARD WORK. You have to be VERY organized. It is extremely meticulous and I don’t think coordinators get the props they truly deserve. Not only is the pay low, her video introducing the role was very condescending
