bad analogy but the sentiment is correct a better example would be the Darwin Port fiasco.. additionally both parties support of low taxing of multi national mining corporations when the evidence from Norway shows that the argument that these corps will not pay is nonsense ... you could argue Rudd proposed a super profits tax but the reality is most pay close to no tax and Norway successfully taxed BP mobil exon etc on revenue even before profit made
