My in laws offered to wear literal hazmat suits to meet our newborn during RSV season. My whole family quarenteened before meeting him and both sides followed our kissing rules. 🥰

I was the devil for not letting my in-laws kiss my baby until he was over a year and vaccinated but at least he didn’t get any major sicknesses in the first year 🤷🏼♀️

I literally don’t get it. had a baby in the NICU for suspected sepsis and the grandma asked me if she could kiss her face or hands. I was like ma’am you shouldn’t be kissing any baby, and DEFINITELY not one in the nicu.

my mom informed me that she WILL be kissing my newborn January baby (after she travels by plane) the second she is born because SHE had to wait 6 years for a grandchild. as if I haven't also been waiting. she told me there's nothing I can do about it 😂 like ???

I would have and still will die on this hill. I love how much it bothers people. It just shows it’s often about control and not about loving my babies 🥰 I held the boundary with my first and I’m about to do it and do it harder with my second!

Y’all I’ve been burned at the stake for simply requesting my in laws get a flu shot. 🙄 I then requested that there be no kisses and now it’s peaceful silence.

When my husband and I had our daughter, everyone in the family was so upset that we set this rule. Well, 4 years later all the other siblings of my husband have had children and have set the same rule! ❤️

My niece was the kissing police for my baby & I loved it! If anyone tried to kiss my little guy she would be like, “NO! No kissing the baby he is too small!” 😂😁

told I keep my baby in a bubble and how's she going to live... she wasnt even 4 months old. we didnt take her out and about till after her first set of vaccines finnished at 6 months. I still stick firm on no kissing. I kiss on face my husband does on forehead but Noone else

I seen a video of a woman who if I remember correctly was the aunt use a dental dam to kiss a newborn.
