With the clear ones, my front teeth shifted and my bite was terrible. I had to get the Hawley ones to fix that.

Here in the Philippines they charged more the clear retainers than the hawley.

I’ve been wearing the hawley every night since I got my braces off in 2008 😅 my teeth have moved slightly but not enough to need any additional correction. I also have upper and lower lingual bars that my dentist hates but I love because my teeth tend to actually move easily and I feel that’s helped keep them more in line long term.

I always take out the plastic one in my sleep 🫣 like 100% outside of my control 😅 my teeth all shifted and now I need braces as an adult

sorry im kinda confused; so after the Hawley Retainers we get the Bonded Retainers? I was told Hawley Retainers are only needed for a full year.

I have had a hawley the whole time. My orthodontist didn’t do bonded retainers (I think that’s what permanent retainers are now called)
