I left my last company after a stellar review and a 2% raise. I found a job with better benefits, better PTO and a 25% increase. The company I left hired four people to replace me. Mind you when I started four people did my job and as others left they just started piling the work on me. Maybe it would have been cheaper just to give me a proper raise.

When I left the company I was at for 8 years they started losing thousands upon thousands of dollars a year. The person they "replaced" me with didn't take the things I trained her on seriously and she didn't retain anything so she could perform the job correctly. She didn't do some things I did because she didn't know why I did them, so she just stopped doing them! The tasks made the company a LOAD of money. Stopping them costed the company probably at least a quarter to a third of their revenue. I just laughed because I knew she was a moron & couldn't do anything I could. I'm glad I left. They started treating me like 💩 & I've found something WFH, so I'm very happy now.

My husband left a job for the same reason. He left in November. They hired 5 people to replace him and closed forever at the end of December. I also left a job (shitty manager) and took the entire staff with me except 2 people. 🤷🏻♀️
