i did student teaching in first grade last year!! car rides home from school were SILENT and i laid in the dark for two hours for the first like month! you def get used to the routine / being constantly overstimulated

One of the things I never suspected while student teaching was how tired I felt every day. I could go home and fall asleep 😂 hang in there! It’s definitely worth it and it showed me I made the right decision ❤️

Coming from a 2nd yr teacher I laid on my floor with my feet up every day after my placement 😅 I was exhausted but they become your WORLD and they will bring you so much joy that the tiredness and ache just disappears. I promise it is worth every moment. Keep it up girlie

Hey sooo, here was my life for my first two years of teaching…. Go to school & teach. Get home around 4:30pm. Eat a quick snack, take a 2 hour nap. Wake up, make dinner, eat, go to bed. Rinse and repeat. I was too exhausted to do anything else.😅 fortunately, I’m now starting year 12 as a teacher. It was the correct career path!
