we're never going to get out of the housing crisis until we start regulating the "investors" who are behind every surge in property prices, they are strangling young Australians out of the market at every opportunity they get. The govt needs to stop enabling them and letting them do whatever they want. It's our housing, not a stock market. Do we really want people to be out on the streets or losing thousands on thousands because they're forced into forever renting?
