Like omg😭 introducing manato in 2.0 to positive reception and delaying him in beta which means he COULD have been an S rank. It should be so obvious to people why manato fans are upset that he’s A rank, but somehow I was getting jumped in my comments for saying it. Also their new big excuse is that “he has a boring design” yet they’ll glaze lucia, yi xuan, and yidhari when they all have the exact same pants on💔

Mind you, Manato was not only introduced early in 2.0 and was apart of a sidequest, but was also heavily featured in 2.1 and is literally in the pv for season 2 of zzz which was made mainly to show people on the cool new character to swipe their card for. The fact that the S rank character is Yidhari instead of him is confusing to say the least.

"male characters don't sell well" Maybe if they actually put effort in them and didn't sabotage their banners..they would, like maybe Phainon. They release them once a blue moon and expect people to pull & spend money on them when they either already saved up more than enough to guarantee them; and when they do release them, often they always put them before/after an already popular & anticipated char like Miyabi, Yi xuan, Castorice. And even then they butcher them even more by giving them shit kit or giving them out for free.
