My clients come during my available hours. Not one complained when i stopped working saturdays. Who said we HAVE to work Saturdays? The beauty industry has y’all minds messed up cuz why can y’all have weekends off but we can’t cuz y’all need y’all hair done? Y’all wanna slave us to death WONT GET ME ! I charge a lot AND i don’t work Saturdays… SUE ME 🤣

Idk why folks love to try and tell hairstylists when they can work and how much they shoulf charge. Thats crazy. If a stylist dont work on Sat, her clients dont want to come in on Saturdays. The stylist KNOWS her clientele. Strangers online are not her clientele.

35 years in this business (52) and Saturday is NOT MANDATORY! Who made that rule. I own the salon i missed out on alot of my child's extra-curriculum activities to work. They got daddies nah it don't work like that hun if it were that easy we'd be a better world. Half the reason for the broken home is because these stylist work work work and not take care of family or themselves. Its enough stylists with different schedules to accommodate what the client want. I work Saturdays and in at 5am but if I need take off Saturday it is. I'm glad to see moms being moms and not granny. Kids need to have family time!

You have to find someone who fits in your schedule. I’m going to be honest a lot of y’all just simply aren’t the target clientele 🤷🏽♀️I’m a service provider and 9-5 workers or people who have a 9-5 type schedule aren’t my ideal client for this very reason. We go to school and get licensed so we can be our own bosses and create our own schedules that’s the beauty of working for yourself. Majority of my clients are nurses and other medical professionals, other service providers, SAHM and people who work from home most people have flexible schedule nowadays work remotely or are entrepreneurs 🤷🏽♀️

25 years + in the beauty industry…. I don’t work on Saturdays…I do offer VIP APPOINTMENTS on Saturdays…. I do offer evening appointments during the week. Your clients will book when you’re available trust me. I’ve had the days of 7am to 2am everyday after while you will wear yourself out. Clients will have you working 24/7 even when you sick if you agree to it 🤦🏽♂️…. But you have to do what’s best for you, & clients make time for what they really want whenever it’s available. 🤞🏽

I am a realtor and work pretty much everyday but I don’t work all day everyday. I am definitely working Sat/Sun because that is when my clients are available to see houses!

And trying to equivocate going to the doctor/dentist using PTO vs a hair appointment. A doctor’s visit is twice a year. A hair appointment could be up to 20+ times. It doesn’t make sense. Certain professions have expected hours.

I am a stylist and salon owner that has been in the business for over 30 years and I do not work on Saturday. I do work longer hours on the days that I do work and I do offer VIP APPOINTMENTS. It works for me and my customers so we are good over here✌🏾

Lady pleaseeee! I work Monday -Friday (all day) My clients make appointments and are happy with it . You can definitely find someone that fits your schedules ! That’s good for your cousin but WE AINT HER ! 😂😂
