I’m 25 and my son is 7 months and I did the same as you. I didn’t eat deli meats, quit caffeine when I learned he had a heart condition but also only did the 200mg before then, didn’t eat sushi, all the things. He has a very rare genetic condition that came along with several defects, main ones being his heart and kidneys. I still blame myself although everyone said it wasn’t preventable. We were in the NICU for almost 3 months, and CICU for another 3 months as well with an open heart surgery by 4 months. I just wanted you to know that our situations may not be the same but I know some of what you are going through. Our babies are so strong! And we just have to keep fighting for them! You are doing all you can and are a great mom!
