What's better between the Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander vs de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter?

If you’re really a CFI MEI you should know that EASA requires stabilised approaches based on the CDFA technique. Please explain to me how dropping into 4 reds fulfils this requirement? Next please explain why if landing performance has been calculated, especially the enroute recalculation required by EASA which allows for a shorter LDR than at the planning stage, and the approach is flown on the published glide, arriving over the threshold at Vref, with the correct flare technique as per the OEM/AFM the aircraft would not have sufficient distance to stop on the runway within 80% of the LDA? If you can manage those two then you should go into law as these pilots are going to need a good defence when they’re up in front of a judge post accident being asked to explain why they knowingly flew against their airport qualification, company procedures, NAA/EASA requirements. Unfortunately there remain pilots who think “I know better than the regulations”……and I’ve witnessed this as a TRI/TRE on various types…turbo props, 737-300, 777 over the last 35yrs

EASA….brilliant! In that case they should all be reporting themselves for continuing with unstable approaches.
