@dinoguy128: Did Dinosaurs have beaver tails? Probably not. Obviously, we don’t know everything, but there are methods that help determine their basic look, it’s not a shot in the dark. #dinotok #accuratedinosaurs #dinosaur
It’s almost like the experts are making informed decisions backed by science😀😀😀

And why do they always try to compare mammal skeletons with dinosaurs (which are reptiles)

Tendons leave scars on your bones where they attach. The bigger the scar, the bigger the muscle. You can tell a lot from the bones.

Me when someone acts like the scientist don't know what their talking about when they do this stuff for a living

Could that be possible that one prehistoric mammal that lived with the dinosaurs had a beaver like tail

Wouldn’t the beaver rather prove that marine reptiles reconstructions than dinosaurs 🤣

😭 Like it wouldn't be an entire area of study if paleontologists didn't know what they were doing.

i don't know how but this made me question, do you think that someone could reconstruct humans with tails because of tailbone

Also thing these posts forget. We're constantly updating how we reconstruct extinct animals! As we learn more, we update reconstruction to match the new information we've gathered! Its a constantly improving process!

Since platypuses have beaver tails, would they have the same attachment points?

the same way we know that spinosaurids had sails and flat tails the attachment points literally prove it reptiles also have very different bone structure than mammals

spinosaurus has a flat tail but vertical woul d it still be like other dinosaur tails or something else

just looking at its tail bone structure, you can see the bones are made to support much more weight in the horizontal axis than the vertical

Would some of them have ridged tails like the ackie monitor, ackies have it so predators can’t grab them if they lodge themselves in a rock,so the ridges on the tail make it so it can’t yank it out of the hole since the tail is too hard to grasp
