it’s SO annoying when people only glaze kojima when other staff have done just as much or even more than him, like kojima isn’t the sole writer for metal gear and you can see it especially in 4 because the main co writer left and that’s why 4 is sorta iffy in the writing department

"Kojima going over budget doesn't matter when the game made all its money back" are these people for real?! That... is not how the industry works. a budget is a budget. Kojima went over budget over and over. He is at fault for that, no matter how hard Kojima defenders worship the game. It's not good business practice.

Something that is very funny is that yes, Kojima was an integral part for one of their largest ips, but he also had been going over budget for a very long time in regards to mgsv, and was bleeding Konami. They didn't randomly strain their relationship with him for no reason
