Praying I don’t have hs but I experienced my first abscess never under my armpit this summer, I thought bc of a razor I used. I didn’t know what to do I just dealt w it as it got bigger and more uncomfortably painful until I went to the ER after it ruptured ig and the fluid I wouldn’t say infection bc there wasn’t an odor at all , at the ER they cut it and pushed everything out no numbing and I was cool, or so I thought. Like a month later I noticed another bump forming familiar to the previous one on my other armpit. I remembered I also bought a new dove scented deodorant prior to the first abscess, I threw it away immediately. As this bump grew more red and painful I looked up remedies and I used essential oils and castor oil (towards the end) on bandaids to heal it and it literally went away. Thank God. No isssues since that.
