I'm plus-size and disabled. Every airline I've flown with has allowed me to purchase two seats with a removable armrest. It's not an issue.

Yeah, it is unfair. They made the seat smaller and smaller and smaller while our population was getting bigger and bigger and bigger. Now they want people to pay for two seats. Absolutely not and this is why I just don’t fly.

The airlines have shrunk the size of seats to the point where they are comically small, and now they want to charge people for taking up too much space. How about making normal size seats that people can sit in comfortably?

While I DO NOT agree with anything being awarded... there are people who have medical issues that cause weight gain. I myself do not have this issue, but some leniency should be given to overweight that *has* medical proof causing the extra weight. I wouldn't be flying on these corner cutting airlines anyway if I could help it lol

Airlines should have two rows with larger seats and charge more for the larger seat to make up for the loss revenue of the seat that is removed from the row. I don’t think they should have to buy two full seats.

I was seated "next to" a guy who was so big he was halfway into my middle seat. It was quite literally impossible to not be touching him, no matter how I positioned my arms or legs. To say I was uncomfortable is an understatement.

Granted, airlines should have decent sized seats like they used to, not sardine size seats. But frankly, they should have a couple of rows of two seats per side (wider seats) for a larger person, instead of three seats per side.

I’m a big girl and sometimes I have a hard time in the seats but I always buy the seats that I do fit in and if I need to buy another seat that’s fine I will.

I’m overweight and I would either pay for two seats or buy a first class ticket as they’re bigger. Depending on which was cheaper. And she’s wrong when saying about healthy food. I’m a delivery driver and in my cooler I have a few bottles of water, and a few pieces of fruit and vegetables.
